Our second night in the unmasked chapel once again brought us up
against Kelekdrix, Herald of Trushnar. With refined tactics and nearly
a full expedition, the first trial of Inktu'ta was completed.
The remaining part of the evening was spent exploring the second trial,
and I am pleased to announce some progress was actually made. Loot
of the night consisted of a loop of endless insanity in addition to
a mana augment. Kelekdrix was apparently concerned in regards to
his personal belongings, leaving all loot within a pile of bones
near his altar, thus pictorial material is somewhat limited.
On an auxiliary note, we are currently looking for two active Bards.
Obviously being flagged for Kod'Taz will be a definite plus, though
not necessarily a dealbreaker if lacking. Our primary concern is
activity and ability. View the application forum on our boards
for further details, or send Nineveh a tell in game.
Many a night has of late been spent within the onerous
walls of the ocean chantry, attempting to breach the harmony
of respectively the Temples of Rage and Fury. Despite the
similarity to our guildname, Barxt proved to be no ally,
though on our fourth night amid the spirits of Uqua, the guardian of Qvic fell to a vast force of 54
adventurers.
On behalf of the guild and myself, I would like to extend an
extensive gratitude to Timmok. Without his efforts, this victory
would be weeks away. For many of us, it has been quite some time since the last adrenaline rush occurred during an EQ raid, though I remain fairly certain I was not the only one enraptured by this encounter tonight. Hopefully all of those who endured the tedious hours of mastering this encounter, will find further motivation as the intricate storyline of Taelosia unwreaths itself.
Prior to engaging Qvic in full force, obvious reflagging events will take precedence, in other words an additional Uqua / Altar clearing
We are currently looking for 1-2 dedicated shamen to fill our ranks. Our current requirements
in addition to level 65 is mass group buff and cannibalize.
If interested, either post on the application forum, or for a more discreet approach, send
an ingame tell to Haillon or Karde.
Though we have yet to progress any further in the highly elaborate storyline within the Planes of Power,
we have been far from inactive. In lieu of the recent allowance of gating spells in Veeshans Peak it was
decided to pay the once considered tier4 zone a visit, about three years post of its prime.
The eerie feel of exploration and challenge was all but gone, as was only to be expected, though it was
still quite the apprechiated reciprocal of countless cr's resulting from Hoshkar Gating, hours of clearing
see invis guardian wurms, to mention some of the dreaded quaLities that Veeshans Peak once had. I have taken the liberty
of adding a link to the first encounter I personally ever experienced in VP, as returning brought a certain nostalgic
stirr, Silverwing Nov 2000
We have not given the Coirnav encounter a new attempt as of yet, though our tactic stands readier than ever
before, and while awaiting the availability of the avatar of water, Xegony was bested once again, along with
the tyrant of fire.
In addition to some new members, we also welcome the return of Shah from his dormant existence as a student,
comments to the quote section, I will get you next time Yrgass!
For several weeks Xegony has been the obvious progression target on our agenda, though for various
reasons, attempting this event had until this weekend been postponed.
Though this weekend it was decided that the time had come, and Eryslai's royalty
was both measured and conquered within 30 hours. Through the learning process this encounter
proved itself to be, the guild displayed both stamina and persistance at a level which
has rarely been seen prior to the battles within the kingdom of wind.
Klavs stood his ground for 55 minutes whilst the various waves were defeated through a
tactic which was thoroughly modified from the first nights attempts.
Congratulations to Thaolin on her Vest of Phoenix Feathers and to Karthu his Simple ring of Purity
Focus has now been shifted towards a different element, namely water, and having witnessed
the ability of our guild today, the Coirnav encounter is most definately doable.
The magicians of Raging Fury have a tendency to work somewhat different when it comes to organizing their
summoned arrows, as displayed below, the comparison of Celsius versus Thaolin. Following in the quote section the monk squad
normally appears quite able when it comes to deciding upon which way to move the raidforce, though at times..
