For what I believe was the seventh time, Raging-Fury was gathered at Boomtown in Copenhagen. These
real life events have grown to be a trademark of our guild, and symbolizes the fact that there are much
more to the high-end game of Everquest than merely the strive for loot. (even though I am sure Hoyas would disagree!)
Each of these gatherings consist of one raid, often a target we have never bested prior to the gathering, or something
which has been way overdue for us to achieve as a guild, followed by a night of enjoying the nightlife
Copenhagen has to offer.
Vulaek'Aerr was the primary target, a ring we had attempted a few times prior to the release of Planes
of Power, though as most of you are probably aware of, being subject to a few ring resets, combined with
servercrashes, this ring was soon abandoned as newer content emerged. However, this being the sole
challenge left in Velious, it was decided Vulak's time had come.
Once again we offer our most sincere grattitude to Taxa for organizing the event, like he has done many a time in the past,
and knowing the gnome, we all remain certain there will be more to come. Apart from the slaying of Vulak'Aerr we have been
attempting numerous elemental plane mobs, completing the necessary keys and so forth.
There used to be a section called fashion victims on this page, though due to the Legacy of Ykesha release, the amount
of possible candidates have been overwhelming, thus the following display of a few randomly selected candidates will
sadly be the concluding summary for the time being.
Last but not least, and most likely not the final sighting of the following occurrence:
The Burning Prince stood solely between Raging-Fury and access to the fabled land of Doomfire. Having
spent the last week in preparation through defeating every wizards nightmare, Xuzl, in addition to
the remaining four trials within the flaming towers, an ample force deftly conquered Solusek Ro, despite
several protests from Faiar proclaiming that the slaying of his deity would be all but impossible.
Fully flagged for earth, wind, water and fire, named mobs from within every plane were attempted and we obviously have quite a bit of learning to do when it comes to avoiding the named mobs dropping spectral parchments and diamonds in comparison to mobs similar in difficulty adoring our raidforce with elemental molds. Hopefully there will be pleasant news to report from the planes shortly.
As the attentive reader has hopefully noticed, these pages have been rather idle
as of the last couple of weeks. In coherence with many a guild on numerous servers, we
have been occupying ourselves with the infamous Rallos Zek encounter, and today we emerged
victorious.
The portal to three quarters of the elemental planes have been breached, and on behalf of Klavs,
I have the privilege of thanking everyone in Raging-Fury that contributed to the fall of Rallos Zek
today. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and
persistance you have all shown
throughout this encounter. Our next progression lies within the Tower of Solusek Ro, and hopefully there will be news to report
from the fiery plane shortly.
A few updates back we displayed a picture of Ceryx proudly adorning his battle
armor. After thorough
discussion, we unanimously decided that the following month would be dedicated to decking the under equipped iksar, and the result
As a new addition to the news page, we now present "name the encounter", where through the mere aid
of a selection of quotes, the naming of the actual mob in question, should be a possibility
Concluding with a few random quotes taken during the last weeks, obvious evidence that even the most mentally stable player experiences
delirious moments during the tribulations of the Rallos Zek encounter
Within The Fortress of Zek, Tallon was found up and available for a change,
and knowing the gate to Soluseks Tower would open through this deity's demise,
neither encouraging words or blessings of faith were deemed a necessity.
Vallon also decided to grace us with his presence, and thus carebears throughout
Norrath cheered vicariously
The warders of Raging-Fury are seldom apprechiated for their endeavors. Glistening
displays of weaponshields, fletching, and countless outbursts in regards to line
of sight, bow performance and tanking efforts. The following pictures were donated by
Grymin, and for the wood elves out there viewing with an open gasp, they are known to
answer every fanmail.
The foundations of Marr's divine temple shook as Mithaniel was found lacking in every way
against a vast force of adventurers seeking unfought battles. Losing merely an ogre the
paladin was thoroughly disposed of as the march continued towards the tower of Solusek Ro
In recent events we have learned that Mortalis will be leaving Antonius Bayle for Venril Saathir.
Truely a loss, and we wish them the best of luck. Fashion victim of the week is Ceryx, one of our main pullers, who despite his 2000 hp actually manages
to stay Alive from time to time.
Agnarr the Storm Lord, the abhorrence of Karana himself was confronted
and defeated within the Bastion of Thunder today, a battle in which I personally
did not participate, thus the pictorial material as well as quote of the week was
donated by our newly appointed guildleader, Klavs.
Faiar was the source of inspiration for the following picture, and unless you actually
play on Antonius Bayle, the oddity in the picture will most likely elude you.
The crypt of decay stood empty today as the plaguebringer himself was defeated in what can only be described
as a way overdue kill. Our previous attempt ended post the point of enrage, and thus todays victoious outcome
was especially liberating. Practically the entire guild participated, and with a higher turnout than we have seen
in weeks, new conquests were definately within reach
Still amply representated, we learned Saryrn was up within the plane of Torment, a deity
we had yet to attempt. Loaded with confidence from the previous slaying, Saryrn offered
no resistance, and the path to the tower of Solusek for some reasons seemed shorter.
Apparanetly fighting a female deity is more than some can handle. The following two quotes occured
during the fight, and are both necessities for the front page,
