We are currently looking for 1-2 dedicated shamen to fill our ranks. Our current requirements
in addition to level 65 is mass group buff and cannibalize.
If interested, either post on the application forum, or for a more discreet approach, send
an ingame tell to Haillon or Karde.
Though we have yet to progress any further in the highly elaborate storyline within the Planes of Power,
we have been far from inactive. In lieu of the recent allowance of gating spells in Veeshans Peak it was
decided to pay the once considered tier4 zone a visit, about three years post of its prime.
The eerie feel of exploration and challenge was all but gone, as was only to be expected, though it was
still quite the apprechiated reciprocal of countless cr's resulting from Hoshkar Gating, hours of clearing
see invis guardian wurms, to mention some of the dreaded quaLities that Veeshans Peak once had. I have taken the liberty
of adding a link to the first encounter I personally ever experienced in VP, as returning brought a certain nostalgic
stirr, Silverwing Nov 2000
We have not given the Coirnav encounter a new attempt as of yet, though our tactic stands readier than ever
before, and while awaiting the availability of the avatar of water, Xegony was bested once again, along with
the tyrant of fire.
In addition to some new members, we also welcome the return of Shah from his dormant existence as a student,
comments to the quote section, I will get you next time Yrgass!
For several weeks Xegony has been the obvious progression target on our agenda, though for various
reasons, attempting this event had until this weekend been postponed.
Though this weekend it was decided that the time had come, and Eryslai's royalty
was both measured and conquered within 30 hours. Through the learning process this encounter
proved itself to be, the guild displayed both stamina and persistance at a level which
has rarely been seen prior to the battles within the kingdom of wind.
Klavs stood his ground for 55 minutes whilst the various waves were defeated through a
tactic which was thoroughly modified from the first nights attempts.
Congratulations to Thaolin on her Vest of Phoenix Feathers and to Karthu his Simple ring of Purity
Focus has now been shifted towards a different element, namely water, and having witnessed
the ability of our guild today, the Coirnav encounter is most definately doable.
The magicians of Raging Fury have a tendency to work somewhat different when it comes to organizing their
summoned arrows, as displayed below, the comparison of Celsius versus Thaolin. Following in the quote section the monk squad
normally appears quite able when it comes to deciding upon which way to move the raidforce, though at times..
Post our first slaying of Rallos Zek during the second week of February, Raging Fury has
learned their ways in the elemental planes, and a new barrier was breached within the
guild as we harnessed our 180th elemental armour piece within the plane of fire today.
During the last couple of weeks, we have in addition to slaying Fennin Ro for the second
time completed our key to Xegony, and eagerly await our first attempt on the wench in
the sky. In the depths on the plane of water, we have also started learning the Coirnav
script, needless to say, we are far from done, though we left the reef today somewhat
enlightened, and with anticipation towards attempting once more.
The cathedral of doomfire lay before Raging Fury once again. We came amply
representated for our second encounter with Fennin Ro, more members than
have been seen online simultaneously ever wanted to be a part of what was to be
our first banishment of an elemental god.
Klavs valiantly stood his ground through the entire fight, and apart from
random overnukers (Haillon) failing to prevail, this was definately one of
our better performances as a guild post the release of Planes of Power.
We have been prospering quite significantly as of late, Klavs and Karde now
weilding their blades of war, Fennin Ro added to our killist, and Xegony
soon to find herself in different company.
Loot consisted of Ifir, dagger of fire, Earring of eternal flame and a pair of plate leggings.
Timmok has for this weeks quote galore composed various utterings for our enjoyment, they can be viewed by clicking the following picture
Although we have not broken any barriers as a guild lately, after having been thoroughly harassed by
guildmates, I was convinced that the option of updating the guildpage despite actually having surpassed
a new challenge actually existed.
My original intentions were to await us killing Fennin Ro prior to making an update, and we recently had our first
attempts at him, which despite the lack of a corpseshot in this update has left the guild in general more
than confident that the first elemental god will not dictate the plane of fire for much longer.
Without further adue, I merely present some random everquest pictures and quotes i found after browsing through
my screenshots, though with an editors note, my playing time has been highly limited as of lately due to finals
exams and such, thus if the quotes mean nothing to you, they probably do not mean anything to the rest of the
world either. (lack of material)
Last but not least, the most contradicting saying ever to be uttered in the guildchat of Raging Fury:
For what I believe was the seventh time, Raging-Fury was gathered at Boomtown in Copenhagen. These
real life events have grown to be a trademark of our guild, and symbolizes the fact that there are much
more to the high-end game of Everquest than merely the strive for loot. (even though I am sure Hoyas would disagree!)
Each of these gatherings consist of one raid, often a target we have never bested prior to the gathering, or something
which has been way overdue for us to achieve as a guild, followed by a night of enjoying the nightlife
Copenhagen has to offer.
Vulaek'Aerr was the primary target, a ring we had attempted a few times prior to the release of Planes
of Power, though as most of you are probably aware of, being subject to a few ring resets, combined with
servercrashes, this ring was soon abandoned as newer content emerged. However, this being the sole
challenge left in Velious, it was decided Vulak's time had come.
Once again we offer our most sincere grattitude to Taxa for organizing the event, like he has done many a time in the past,
and knowing the gnome, we all remain certain there will be more to come. Apart from the slaying of Vulak'Aerr we have been
attempting numerous elemental plane mobs, completing the necessary keys and so forth.
There used to be a section called fashion victims on this page, though due to the Legacy of Ykesha release, the amount
of possible candidates have been overwhelming, thus the following display of a few randomly selected candidates will
sadly be the concluding summary for the time being.
Last but not least, and most likely not the final sighting of the following occurrence:
The Burning Prince stood solely between Raging-Fury and access to the fabled land of Doomfire. Having
spent the last week in preparation through defeating every wizards nightmare, Xuzl, in addition to
the remaining four trials within the flaming towers, an ample force deftly conquered Solusek Ro, despite
several protests from Faiar proclaiming that the slaying of his deity would be all but impossible.
Fully flagged for earth, wind, water and fire, named mobs from within every plane were attempted and we obviously have quite a bit of learning to do when it comes to avoiding the named mobs dropping spectral parchments and diamonds in comparison to mobs similar in difficulty adoring our raidforce with elemental molds. Hopefully there will be pleasant news to report from the planes shortly.
As the attentive reader has hopefully noticed, these pages have been rather idle
as of the last couple of weeks. In coherence with many a guild on numerous servers, we
have been occupying ourselves with the infamous Rallos Zek encounter, and today we emerged
victorious.
The portal to three quarters of the elemental planes have been breached, and on behalf of Klavs,
I have the privilege of thanking everyone in Raging-Fury that contributed to the fall of Rallos Zek
today. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and
persistance you have all shown
throughout this encounter. Our next progression lies within the Tower of Solusek Ro, and hopefully there will be news to report
from the fiery plane shortly.
A few updates back we displayed a picture of Ceryx proudly adorning his battle
armor. After thorough
discussion, we unanimously decided that the following month would be dedicated to decking the under equipped iksar, and the result
As a new addition to the news page, we now present "name the encounter", where through the mere aid
of a selection of quotes, the naming of the actual mob in question, should be a possibility
Concluding with a few random quotes taken during the last weeks, obvious evidence that even the most mentally stable player experiences
delirious moments during the tribulations of the Rallos Zek encounter
Within The Fortress of Zek, Tallon was found up and available for a change,
and knowing the gate to Soluseks Tower would open through this deity's demise,
neither encouraging words or blessings of faith were deemed a necessity.
Vallon also decided to grace us with his presence, and thus carebears throughout
Norrath cheered vicariously
The warders of Raging-Fury are seldom apprechiated for their endeavors. Glistening
displays of weaponshields, fletching, and countless outbursts in regards to line
of sight, bow performance and tanking efforts. The following pictures were donated by
Grymin, and for the wood elves out there viewing with an open gasp, they are known to
answer every fanmail.
