So was reading about the cancelation of SOE's the agency, when this popped up as sort of a side note :

Additionally, SOE announced the cancellation of The Agency, the long-delayed, cross-platform spy MMO under development at SOE Seattle. The company said it's discontinuing production of the title to "focus development resources on delivering two new MMOs based on its renowned PlanetSide and EverQuest properties, while also maintaining its current portfolio of online games."

so question is, if it's everquest 3 that is developed. Would you play it ?

So basically they finally gave up on the old engine and decided the only way to get new audience is to re-write the game from scratch, or am i understanding it wrong.

Well EQ2 was before WoW now they want to correct the mistakes they made there. :P

It did look like WoW in a way, just in a more evil twisted way.
