Hi everyone! Posting here for all to see! SOE wants to change the human model in Norrath to this:

All I was thinking looking on this picture was "thank god Merc is not human!"

One thing is how they look, but if their animations is anywhere near the new race that moved like they had poo'ed in thier pants then it gets even worse hehe.

I have read throguh most of the debate on SoE official boards, the thing is that the animations should suck ass.... yay for the lizards

I actually love it. I always loved EQ models and I find this one ok as well. Much much better than WOW crap gfx.

I absolutely love WoW graphics, both because of thier character animations and because you can run it very well even on a 5 year old box.
Nogginfrogger elixir that gives skeleton and do /dance is simply awesome! ( think of a skeleton doing a very entusiastick air guitar )

well WoW has goodgrafics I think, but it's a different style I will grant you that, and WoW dose't fit into the eq world, but a ton of other grafics are semi realistic, just like eq and looks muchbetter.
Why EQ simply can't get even simple stuff right, and yes I do consider making avatars for a MMO like this simple...
SoE are saying the same complaints were around when luclin models were launched, and there part right.
What they forget is the fact that when luclin came out EQ was leader in the MMO market and there were no resonable MMO's to compare with.'
Now we have VG, WoW, GW, SWG, Age of Cohan coming out, and a shit load of others I forgot.
People will compare and ask, WHY CAN THEY DO IT AND YOU GUYS CAN'T??
SoE hasen't got an answer to that question and even if they did I bet they would never give it.
