I started april 1999 (not 99% sure would have to look on my first char)

And I am sure all in all I might top Gena...I will check this at home, log all chars in and check the hours.

First thing I ever did in EQ was, handing the Warrior Guide in Ogguk the note with hitting "a" since in my old game "a" was /give

So I was dead after 5 mins playing. Then it took me 30 minutes to find him again and my corpse.

The genius of EQ is also the biggest complaint against it: most stuff takes a long time to do and you need to find lots of people help to accomplish almost anything rewarding. So thanks EQ for forcing me to hang out with the likes of you people here :) And thanks to anybody who ever led me into battle over the 9 years I played, implied in the genius of EQ is that people like you step up to make this otherwise banal game enthralling for the likes of me.

Grats on 10 years, Everquest and RF!

I still remember my time in EQ fondly, naked CR runs to ToV and suicide runs through Plane of Fear included.

It is the heroic efforts I remember, not the easy cakewalk kills. Walking from Qeynos to Freeport was THE expedition back in the days.

Say hi to Xack from me, he is the only member on your current roster I remember from way way WAY back - although a few others have familiar names so I would guess they were in competing guilds or joined RF just before I left around end of OoW.

Since we all remember or 1st time (right ?), I do remember creating, in May 2000, a Halfling who 5 minutes later fell in that pirhanas infested river.

Thinking about that, it is hard for me to explain how in hell I became so hooked up after such a painful experience.

lol Daze started dec 99 has 653 days played,

have lost a shedload of toons over the years, prolly got mebbe 800 played if i still had them all , it took me over 2 months of very bad play to get a wiz and pally to level 20 , but by god i still cant believe i haven't burned out yet on Daze, hours of having a seller toon in EC and getting a guildy to transfer bags of items over


still remember when a Bst charmed a bear and buffed it up to hell, and then went Ld, the screams of the level 1 traders in tunnel was amusing ::p
