it's an interesting lecture, and a lovely demonstration of observational awareness and how it can be directed.
I do enjoy his dig at the anti evolutionists and their so called "intelligent design" bullshit. |

I counted 17 passes as well, the 18th started but was cut by the end of the video. I noticed a guy in a hairy suit walking around but didn't give a shit, the task was to count white shirt passes, when he gave all the buildup of a wild thing to watch for in the 2nd showing I assumed I didn't see the coolness. Count the passes, don't worry about other crap going on, that was the task anyway. That sort of misdirection of focus is how most magician tricks works.
It is a cool vid overall though. In a few US states teaching of Intelligent Design has to be taught in science classes, which is funny because as he points out that by definition it's not science.
