Anniversary Raid: The Mechamatic Guardian

Where:
•Dragonscale Hills
Who:
•Gearbie Gogglenoggin (close to Vesiss, NW of zone in) in DSH

Say: "get them" to receive both tasks: "Maximum Capacity" and "Parts IS Parts"

The task "Maximum Capacity" is progressed by killing the Mechamatic Guardian in the Dragonscale Hills.
Updates occur at 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, and 10%.
He then locks health and regenerates to full.
The Mechamatic Guardian is very spell resistant and has a very large amount of hitpoints.
Every certain health %, adds spawn at his location.
Everyone in the task receives a reward.

The task "Parts IS Parts" is progressed by killing the Mechamatic Guardian in the Dragonscale Hills down to 80%.
You can repeat this task and it's possible to get both augs as rewards. You can loot the drops of 15 mobs which
spawn around 13mins. The deliver step will update both tasks in time.
Best is to wait until you did the task "Parts IS Parts" once. After getting the task again you get updates for both
tasks and don't need collect more rare drops. If you got all drops, just hand them in and get your reward.

Uh i didnt have time to begin with this aniversary tasks, so I am a bit lost...
In order to get the reward tomorrow (with the raid), all I need to do is ask for the 2 missions or do I have to complete something else?

You need to get the quests from the gnome mentioned above in DSH. Then get the updates from the raid and then collect the bits from the 15 mobs that spawn every 15 or so min. Sounds "easy" but it aint.. most idiotic quests ever. Especially as everyone needs minimum one item from one mob and most who want the "cool" mount need 3 more.

Yes, can collect pieces after doing the raid bit.

Update is when handing items in, so yes, can pre-collect.

Also note that you only need 2 of each item (and 3 for a few) even if you want the mount, as the items are the same for both tasks, and when you hand in an item, both tasks will be updated.

Task "Parts is Parts" (that gives the augments) require 1 of each item, and the other task (that gives the mount), requires 2 of each item (except for a few which it need 3 of).

You can therefor turn in items for "Parts is Parts" and get the first augment (which then also updated half of the mount-task), then get the "Parts is Parts" again and turn items in a second time, which will update the other half of the mount-task.
