Congratulations, nice to see that you are doing so well. Sounds like a lot of fun lore wise, I would have loved to be part of it. Too bad I can't stand the game any more, encounter wise I doubt there is anything that can beat good ol' everquest.

Right now its raids two days a week for us in wow, and rest spent farming to open the gates to the next raid zone. A creative cockblock if nothing else, but I don't want to see another giant bug in my life.

Congrats on finishing the expansion!

I've since switched jobs and I'm now working on NeverWinter Nights 2 at Obsidian Entertainment. Mayong was one of the last characters I worked on while I was at SOE. It's cool to see people finally getting to that content and getting to check out some of my work.

I never got a chance to witness the 'head switch' (mayong going from dark elf to vamping out) ... hopefully that turned out cool.

Anyway, I hope everyone has been enjoying the new art and game content. Now if only you guys would post screenshots with all the shaders on (hehe).

Again, congrats to everyone involved!

- Ian

Have not managed to pay close attention to the actual morph process during the encounter, there is usually enough going on by that point

Mayong is without doubt one of the better designed models in the game as well, hoping future models will follow that standard. The animation when Mayong shows off his sword abilities is unmatched as well.

How is the progress coming on Neverwinter Nights 2?

Gratz RF, your amazing.

As EQ designer now I can tell you after killing Mayong in demiplane you should take a look into potime ... a secret is awaiting you....

Unfortunetly there's isn't an actual morph process ... it's just a quick switch between two head models. It's probably better that you don't actually see the switch happen.

Thank you for the compliments. The animations were done by someone who still works on the game, so you should see more of that in the future. I think the animations for Mayong came out pretty amazing as well, I was really shocked that he could get that much secondary motion into his cape (espcially during his death animation). It turned out really cool.

NWN 2 is going great. Lot's of cool changes happening from the first one which are nice, the most noticeable being the graphics engine. IGN as well as other gaming news sites have had a lot of press coverage on NWN 2 as of late, you should check out some of the articles if you get a chance.

Default Grats...long long time no see btw

Just wanted to drop by and say grats to all! Been a long time since I had the RF tag over my head, but, glad to see you all still doing well.
Still on the Rathe and doing well if anyone remembers me these days, as it has been a few years. Coujo dropped out of EQ about a year or year and a half ago. I think he was the only person left on the Rathe that had the RF tag besides me. Again grats all.
