Yep, I see only good moves, like most of the time since DBG.

But it's going the right direction, so I'm not complaining. Adding some more mana on some of your spell should not change much. And for the fade, well, has been a lot of angry ppl BEFORE it gone live, but I don't see much since then. We have to live and adapt to the direction DBG want the game to go, and all I see, is it's going on a good direction. And they doing stuff and don't let game die. |

Re: Test Update 10/15/15
Generally, trying to re-achieve a certain class balance is a good thing.
Boosting melee classes was long overdue, and despite two considerable boosts, melees will not be able to claim the top rank on any fight longer than 30 seconds, but at least, a capable melee will now be at the lower caster ranks (read, somewhere close to magicians). Boosting all caster classes and nerfing mages (rains) was pretty shitty (for mages), hit us pretty hard and I don't like it. The changes to fade were nerfes, aye, but they brought the abilities in line of each other (mostly). That Paladins got a "nerf" by increasing the mana cost of a spell is sad for paladins, I agree, but seems to be implemented for the sake of "balance" as well. There's no need for paladins to like it, though. But in a general way, DBG seems to at least have an idea where they want EQ to head. That's more reassuring that EQ will continue than that half-assed "expansion" they vomited out. Last edited by Igniz; 16-10-2015 at 23:32. |
